I finally finished the baby-sized courthouse quilt I’ve been working on. I saw the pattern in the last issue of American Patchwork and Quilting. I’ve never made a quilt with so many pieces before and I’m so happy with the end result. With all the narrow strips and 1/2 inch seams inside, this quilt has a lot of fabric in it and I can tell when I feel it that it’s thicker than quilts I’ve made before. This design is definitely a keeper.
I forgot to take a before picture, but with some free-motion quilting, this baby wrinkled up nicely in the dryer. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to part with it!
I love it!
it’s really sweet.
I think all log cabin related patterns are fantastic. They just take a little time that’s all.
It’s beautiful! I love how all the colors work together.
Oh it is STUNNING!!!!
Gorgeous! Beautiful job. The combination of fabrics is perfect. I wouldn’t want to part with it either!
It is so cute! Love it!
(And the more wrinkles, the better. On quilts, anyway.)
Linda, that is sooooooooo pretty!!!!! I wouldn’t want to part with it either. What a lot of work, but it’s awesome.

The quilt came out great! I would definitely have a hard time parting with it too!
I don’t know if I could part with that either, it’s beautiful!

Oh Linda… it is SO, SO, SO, so very beautiful! You did an awesome job too! BTW… I like my quilts to wrinkle too! It’s always so exciting to open the drier door the first time and see what magic has happened to a quilt. I’m soooo with you!

Wow, amazing work. So lovely, it must have been a lot of effort.
That is soooo perfect. How could you give that away???? I love it. You are sooo talented. Maybe we should look into finding houses close to each other, I think I have a lot to learn from you. Why don’t you think about moving to Germany?? Pretty please? 😉
It’s gorgeous! I love the soft colors, I just want to cuddle up in it!
Oh Linda, that is just lovely. I am amazed at how talented you are. Wow, wish you could give me some lessons.
A keeper for sure! You definitely have an eye for color and style as is proven by this beautiful quilt.
I’ll have to track down the pattern in my spare time — yours is so inspirational!
It is gorgeous! I love the varying shades of pink and then the darker greens. Wow. Why did it have 1/2″ seams I wonder? And the strips finished at 1/2″ then? Anyway, it is beautiful – definitely worth keeping and repeating!
Linda,
Can we use this photo as a beautiful example of this pattern on the blog next week? Courthouse/ log cabin will be our block-along post next Friday. As always, we’ll link back to your blog. Let me know.
Thanks,
Kristin
