This weekend I finally got a chance to do some fun sewing. I had been wanting to try a bag with some giant tucks (I think that’s what their called – if you know what they’re really called, let me know!)
BUT, they looked kind of plain, so I sewed them up on one side and added a flower.
This is the first fabric flower I’ve ever felt good enough about to post. Yes, even with all the great flower tutorials out there, I’m flower challenged.
Love that bag. The tucks are a great idea! (And fabulous flower.)
I love that bag! Another great creation!!!!You are so inspiring.
I finally finished my quilt and got it to my mother on Mother’s Day. Thanks for being so encouraging. Now I’m on to try another one before I forget what I learned! :O)
It looks wonderful! I love the fabric choice.
This looks great! The flower is awesome! Doesn’t look like you are challenged to me!
Cute bag, Linda! And I think you can now say that you “were” flower challenged; congratulations. 😉
What a great bag and I love the flower, it’s the perfect finishing touch!

you’re definitively not ‘bag challenged’!!! What a great tote. Is it for you?
I’m really into gray at the moment which is a bit strange given we’re goint towards summer..
I kinda like “giant tucks”! Sorry… I don’t know what they’re really called either. CUTE bag!!!
Wonderful bag. I like the “tucks” idea … adds a lot of style and character.
You forgot to mention that it’s on sale in your Etsy shop!!!! Promotion. Promotion!!! And don’t forget the link. ;0)
I don’t know what I love more; your fabric or your purse! It’s all lovely and your flower is brilliant. 🙂
You don’t APPEAR to be fabric flower challenged. It looks great!
Oh yes, you are definitely flower challenged. And sewing challenged and blogging challenged and….
😉 Is there anything you don’t do fabulously?!
