I’m in love with this patchwork design! This is the 4th baby quilt I’ve made with it. Simple rectangles that are large enough to show off some pretty prints.
And a lovely ruffle.

I love the ruffle on the edge! Any chance you can show us how it’s done?
Yes, I’d love to! I haven’t had a lot of time for tutorials so I’ll just explain it here in case I never actually get a tutorial done. 🙂
I quilt the top to a layer of batting, then I quilt the bottom to a layer of batting. I stitch the ruffle to the top, then stitch the top to the bottom, right sides together with the ruffle in between – much like making a pillow cover. Leave an opening to turn and topstitch through all the layers all the way around, about 3/8″ in from the ruffle, closing the opening up as you stitch.
I hope this makes sense!
It absolutely does! And, it sounds easy, too. Quilting the 2 sides separately is a brilliant idea. Thanks for replying so quickly with an explanation!
So pretty!
Thank you!
This is so sweet! I love the fabric!
